This recognition represents not just a personal achievement but also a testament to the dedication and passion of many people around me. I think of the incredible team at GIZ, our dedicated H2.SA project team, and the Women in Green Hydrogen network — all of whom have been essential in driving forward the mission of advancing the green hydrogen economy. This honour is shared with each of them, as it reflects our collective efforts and commitment to creating a sustainable future.

To me, this award signifies the importance of innovation, collaboration, and resilience. It reaffirms my belief in the power of diverse voices and perspectives in shaping the future of energy. It is a reminder that the work we do today is paving the way for a cleaner, greener world and that our role as women in this industry is more vital than ever.

This recognition also motivates me to continue pushing boundaries, to inspire and empower more women to take part in the green hydrogen movement, and to strive for a future where sustainable energy is a reality for all.
